Making Georgia Safer, One Coalition at a Time
Monthly Response Highlight

Region A has been assisting District 1-2 with an Access & Functional Needs Training class. It is called Access & Functional Needs, Awareness and Etiquette. They have done several trainings with all of their health departments and several CERT teams around the region. The class is very well received and with high approval ratings. They recently did a train-the-trainer course with District 1-1 & District 4 with the same training so they in turn can train their District partners as part of our Northwest Georgia Multi-District Alliance.

Why become a member?

Membership is available at no cost to you. Members may attend their quarterly Coalition meetings where they can participate in planning, training, and exercises. Coalitions provide a space to collaborate and support other members during disaster response and recovery. Your organization will build new and stronger relationships with other healthcare organizations, complete CMS guidelines, learn about available resources in the community, and have access to training and grant funding.

Who can be a member?

All healthcare organizations and community partners are invited to join their coalitions and register for a GHC911 account.
