Region N has expanded outreach and partnerships through the STOP the Bleed (STB) training initiative. They have established a new partnership with the Cobb County District Attorney’s Office Criminal Investigations Division, a sworn investigative and active law enforcement unit. They reached out after learning about the STB training, education, and outreach sponsored by Region N.
Given the current environment, their investigators have increased training and upgraded gear and supplies to better respond to emergencies both in the Cobb Judicial Circuit and while in the field. Region N currently supports—and will continue to expand—regional training opportunities with police departments, sheriff’s offices, SWAT teams, U.S. Marshals, and other law enforcement agencies throughout the region.
They remain committed to educating and training participants in STOP the Bleed and provide an STB kit to all individuals who complete the training. Their goal is to better prepare the region to respond to emergencies. The continued expansion of the STOP the Bleed campaign has been a significant success for Region N.
