Region B Healthcare Coalition – Georgia Mountains Healthcare Coalition
The Region B Healthcare Coalition includes numerous healthcare organizations working together to respond and coordinate efforts before, during, and after emergencies. Healthcare Coalitions collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to ensure the community has the necessary medical equipment and supplies, real-time information, communication systems, and trained and exercised personnel to respond to an emergency.
Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS) is a not-for-profit community health system dedicated to improving the health and quality of life of the people of Northeast Georgia.
NGHS is anchored by Northeast Georgia Medical Center’s five hospital campuses – NGMC Gainesville, NGMC Braselton, NGMC Barrow, NGMC Habersham and NGMC Lumpkin – with a total of more than 1000 beds and more than 1,500 medical staff members representing more than 40 specialties.
