Georgia’s Healthcare Preparedness Program is directly funded by the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response(ASPR) through the Hospital Preparedness Program (OHR). HPP’s mission is to prepare the health care system to save lives through the support of regional health care coalitions. HCCs are groups of health care and response organizations that collaborate to prepare for and respond to medical surge events. HCCs incentivize diverse and often competitive health care organizations to work together. To that end, we have formed the Georgia Healthcare Coalltions (GHC911.org) website as the one-stop-shop for healthcare preparedness resources in the state of Georgia.
